WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a form of alternative therapy or complementary therapy, commonly referred to as a Japanese energy healing technique. Energy healing has been used for centuries in various forms.
The predominant form of Reiki practiced throughout the world today, also known as Usui Reiki, was created by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. It’s used as a way to manage symptoms and improve general well-being.
The word “Reiki” is a combination of two Japanese words: “rei,” which means “God’s wisdom,” or “the higher power,” and “ki,” which means “life force energy.”
“Ki is the life force energy that animates all living things,”. Put together, “rei” and “ki” mean “spiritually guided life force energy.”
It emerged in Japan in the late 1800s and involves the transfer of universal energy from the practitioner’s palms to their client. It is growing in popularity nowadays.
Some hospitals in America and Europe offer Reiki.
What does Reiki do?
Reiki Breaks Down Energy Blocks and Balances The Mind, Body, and Spirit. Regular Reiki treatment promotes the consistent and unlocked flow of energy throughout the body.
Allowing people to feel:-
1) less stressed (aid relaxation)
2) enhancing learning and memory
3) promoting mental clarity
4) healing physically (assist in the body’s natural healing processes)
5) holistic and comprehensive healing (develop emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being)
6) help people cope with difficulties
How Does It Work?
Reiki can help in reducing pain and is also effective in treating certain diseases.
REIKI SESSION:-
-
During a Reiki session, the practitioner places their hands either directly on you or just above you to bring about healing. Your body’s natural healing abilities are stimulated to remove the blockages/stagnation.
-
Reiki Distant Healing is also done. Distance healing means when a client and REIKI practitioner is not present physically together. The practitioner sends healing energies to the client with the use of certain distant Reiki symbols and Grids.
This energy is said to permeate the body, while this energy is not measurable by modern scientific techniques but it can be felt by many who are attuned to it (Reiki/Spiritual practitioners)
People who receive Reiki describe it as “intensely relaxing.”
